Have your volleyball crew? Bring ‘em with you.
Not every player wants elite travel. Not every team needs to be strangers. DraftHouse teams should have more than a basic understanding of the game with an intermediate or advanced skill level.
The DraftHouse program is a “build/draft your club team” concept that allows a group of players to form their own team(8-10). DraftHouse teams will receive quality professional coaching, structured practices,
and competitive match play–without the high level performance expectations and the extensive travel demands of elite club teams.
“DraftHouse” is perfect for players entering their Senior year of high school not looking to play at the next level. This program is also good for teams that are skilled but may not be getting top coaching attention.

If you're not planning on playing at the next level,
this is the perfect opportunity to get the boys together for one last ride.
Enjoy your final season without the high pressure and expense of elite travel teams. Stay competitive and have fun. Enjoy a light travel schedule while preparing for high school season.
We know you have a lot goin on in your Senior year, but remember, your commitment to the team and travel schedule is needed and mandatory.

How It Works
1: Get in the chat and start inviting players you know and trust to be great teammates and build that dream squad. Focus on all positions and utility players too. DraftHouse teams will need a parent involved as Point of Contact.
2: Once your team (8-10 players) is formed, submit your roster below and you're ready to tryout. Rosters must meet AAU/IHSAA guidelines for player eligibility.
3: Once reviewed and approved by Firebolt, parents will be notified with next steps on scheduling a team workout.
All DraftHouse Teams MUST tryout as a team. The goal here is to fill key positions and utility player spots as well. It's very likely you will draft other players at tryouts.
DraftHouse teams should be finalized by AUG 1, 2026. Get your roster in early!

Your DraftHouse Selection Formula
Key Players
- Seek players with double skills("pins" who can pass)
- Only 3 players from the same school per team
- Invite players to "play up" an age group
- Must adhere to age restrictions per AAU guidelines
- Hype guys
- Above average Volleyball IQ,
- Hustle players/play makers.
- Communicators+leaders
- Athletic+height(this guy usually controls the aux)
- Sportsmanship(handles the chirping)
Clutch Factor:
- Can he handle pressure
- Is he a play maker
- Does he know how to score/block/pass/serve...
Team Chemistry
- Positive attitude
- Does he encourage others
- Does he make others players better
Common roster build:
- 3 MB, 4pins, 1-2 setters, 1-2 bro/ds.
Remember, DraftHouse teams aren't built for 6 heroes, they're built for players who can handle the pressure of competition and become annoyingly valuable with their efforts for the entire season.

DraftHouse Team rules
- Must adhere to IHSAA guidelines (3 player rule, coach/player rule)
- Must be in the appropriate skill level
(2-3 years of club experience min.)
- Adhere to AAU player age guidelines
- DraftHouse teams can tryout as a team during scheduled tryouts or
schedule a time with our club director.
- Attend all scheduled practices and posted club tournaments.
Designed for players who want to:
- Play with trusted friends/athletes
- Compete at intermediate/high level
- Improve skills with structured practices
- Have fun while developing without overwhelming pressure
- Compete in regional travel(4hrs max)
- Attending AAU Nationals in Orlando(optional)
*Firebolt reserves the right to approve or reject any Coach/team/player listed on a DraftHouse roster.
Player development comes fist. Even though the environment is more flexible, the coaching is not. The program is designed for structured practices, skill progression, position-specific work, and tournament competition at appropriate level
DraftHouse FEES: $2,026 per player
Player pack/uniforms, coaches/tournament fees, hotel stays are additional expense.
